This is the sheit I was talking about.
I have several very conservative friends and acquaintances and let me tell you, 90% of the ones who aren't elderly regurgitate 'their' view points directly from Fox News talking points that day. I'm talking successful fukking people here.
Not one of them consider what the republicans did in Obama's first two years as anything but 'for the good of the country, trying to stop Obamacare and save this country from his evils.'
It's amazing to witness how ever since Bush went with the Loonies to beat Gore, their is no more middle in the Republican party, and if you are, your losing your seat to a more out their opponent.
It makes me wonder why I even register Independent anymore....no way I can get behind any of these republican politicians lately. Tough being an even keeled, moderate individual nowadays.

That's just the problem though, there is no middle ground amongst Republicans, it's strictly to the right, on some my way or the highway philosophy. I'd be willing to adhere to some of their policies if the candidates didn't look like incandescent, illiterate jerkoffs who no policy themselves, beside being the complete opposite of Barack.....
Simple-minded intellectuals seem to forget that Barack campaigned off of bipartistionship. Why? because political parties spend the bulk of their time arguing back and forth, not progressing anywhere on some stupid crips and bloods fued. When congress, the elected leaders, should be hell bent engaging ways to better the life of citizens.
Now Barack appears to be weak in the eyes of many because perception shows a lack of control of the economy. During this next term Obezzy is going to have to get his Bush on in order to push laws through(OLC).
Most hardcore critics I know, already predicted that his first term would end up being a complete clusterf*ck with his credentials of being a great president riding solely off of his 2nd term. (waits for some idiot to misinterpret this, I got a vicious reply waiting

At the heart of the policy matters, there are plenty of moderate/conservative economic or national security view points that are very valid and not hard headed ignorant lunacy.
Like, look, I get it, you want to continue to have choices in your personal life, from Healthcare to guns....and sure, there are always some people who abuse things like welfare programs that you and I pay for.
