The SS match made Dolph and it was the MOTY so I'm not too sure about that

The IZOD Center 'made' Dolph last April and it turned into nothing.

Seth Rollins:

-Had a much better showing at the Rumble
-Had The Shield vs. Wyatts
-Had an actual match on the Mania card (albeit a shytty one, but still wasn't thrown in a battle royal and went over)
-Was THE star of Shield vs. Evolution
-Won Money in the Bank
-Turned on the Shield
-Was groomed as The Authority's golden boy
-Had a red hot multi-ppv Dean Ambrose feud
-Gave Brock Lesnar dat stomp (and carried the heel element of the shows since Brock is lounging in his lodge)
-Hell in a Cell
-And was a great catalyst for Dolph's big moment

I think you could definitely pick much worse than Dolph. It just feels like a prisoner of the moment pick. Like for most of the year, he was just regular Dolph, played hot potato with Miz for the IC strap and then finished the year strong. I'll remember the emergence of Rollins way more in the future.
