Exactly, I don't care if he's a descendant or relative of Frederick Douglass or not. He stood his ground and told these negropeans why he doesn't support interracial marriages. I now understand why Umar Johnson can go on television and lie about receiving a doctorate from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine -- the school is scared to release any information about him.
Two years ago, a doctoral candidate made a YouTube video where she said she contacted the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine to see if Umar Johnson was a graduate and the person she spoke with was very nervous. It is disturbing how many people fake having a doctorate, many of them preachers.
The most disheartening case is Mary McLeod Bethune's granddaughter, Evelyn Bethune. After earning a master's at the University of Florida, she was convicted for writing hot checks. She did not inform the University of Florida of her conviction when she applied for and started her doctoral program. The university made her head of its Institute of Black Culture where she misappropriated funds. Charges were filed and she was arrested for several probation violations.
Evelyn Bethune was expelled from the doctorate program in her first year of study, but is commonly referred to as Doctor.

Dr. Umar Johnson the person continues to undermine his message no matter how on point he is with it because of his lack of transparency. 
I agree with a lot of his message but it's a hard sell because he seems too pretentious and underhanded in his dealings.
I wish he would just focus on his message and leave all of the school stuff alone, he just doesn't seem built for it.

On an individual level it isn't so bad and it is unrealistic to believe that humans will not find each other attractive.
On a mass scale, it harms the upward mobility of black people because of its inability to create black wealth. Also, it creates too many descendants that will be ambivalent about fighting oppression that we face. Umar did a great job detailing the psychological effects of these unions between black and white in the minds of black people. Sure you will have the occasional black person that can overcome this hindrance and confusion the union creates but most of the time that black person becomes neutralized.
Also, this union has been an effective tool of white supremacy in regards to Eugenics. Check Australia and the Black Seminoles for reference.

A lot of our most accomplished and successful leaders were the result of an interracial union or had an IR relationship themselves.
Umar himself muses optimistically about a white grandfather linking himself and Fredrick Douglas.
You sure it's the union that creates the confusion? Or are the physiological effects there already?
People usually marry people they are comfortable with. I don't see a "pro-black" down for the cause dude marrying a white woman then throwing all that in the bushes, and conversely i don't see a white woman wanting to marry him unless she was down for the cause herself.
Beyond that. All black people aren't down for the cause regardless of who they lay with. I don't understand why there's such a focus on who people chose to lay with, when there's literally dozens of more pressing issues.
Everybody doesn't have to be down for the cause. IMO we should leave those people alone and focus on strengthening those that are.
