I've messed with it, but how do you load channels on to it?

Right now, I just use my PS3 and PS3 Media Server to watch shows I've download on the PC. I haven't dug into Plex like that, but I don't think the old laptop I'm using can handle it cause it runs slow as shyt whenever boot up the app.

You can get local cable with an antennae.

If your ISP is down with ESPN, you can get the a lot of great coverage through ESPN3 or the app that's on 360.

For what they go for now is not even worth it if you ask me. You can almost build yourself an HTPC for the price. If it can't play 1080p that shyt in the bushes.

Heard you can get every movie on iTunes though for free,

Plex just takes it to another level

it not only trascodes anything, it plays subtitles and secondary audio as well as playing Hulu and youtube
