The Matt Taven thing really sums up their roster and booking issues. The title needed to come off of Lethal at some point, and Taven was the call almost solely by process of elimination, not because he was clearly the guy to elevate. When you look at their roster, somehow absolutely no one sticks out as a legit world champ either because they have no name value, they had a run near the top that failed, or haven't been booked anywhere close to a position that would make sense for them to win it.
Which is crazy for a promotion that has a wrestling school its been running for almost two decades. You'd think that they'd be able to stumble into a prospect that they developed that has star quality, but apparently not. It's crazy.

Do not agree with this Dalton Castle slander especially next to Matt Taven. Dalton was fine & one of the few fresh things ROH had for a while, the problem for him was Delirious waited a year later than he should have to start pushing him & when they did finally push him he got hurt & just kept going because he was champion until he looked like a mummy with all the tape & wraps he had to wear.
