this guy is an idiot or a great troll :russ:

he talking about being concerned about player safety and then wants to fit a tournament into 16 days. What a clown :heh:

Altho in fairness, rugby sevens will be in the 2016 games.

Anyone else remember when Reebok had those commercials with Emmitt Smith trying to get football into the olympics in 1996? :heh:

Only countries that Play football semi-decent besides the US are Canada, Japan and Germany from what I remember. I guess you could throw in Britain and Australia and see what happens :manny:

There is already a World 19 and under tournament, and guess what, the US lost this year, and lost in 2010, and have lost before. Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Germany, New Zealand and American Samoa made it to the past tournament. The US won their pool, then got beat by Canada. There are more countries that play college football. The assumption that the US would win is a big assumption.

Biggest problem with this is the QBs or lack there of. You could probably field a few teams with legit NFL talent at a few different positions, but QB is one of the least diverse yet most important position on the field. And are these teams gonna have training camps before hand? It would be some sloppy ass play and cats would be getting hurt every other play.

The ratings would be through the roof. :wow:

I kinda doubt it.

The assumption that the US would win with NFL player is a big assumption or what the fukk strawman u settin up ? Cause if you meant NFL players winning Olympic Football being a big assumption then u are just a plain moron. But again your final statement is way to vague. Yes other countries play college football but the US produces the best football players, that cant be argued.

But how many players from the netherlands are on a US college football roster?

We play soccer over here too but we dont even come close to developing the best players in the sport. Just cause they play football over there dont really mean shyt.

Its not even close to top tier talent that plays in those U19 world tournaments like 3star recruits and lower.

I can see 7 on 7 possibly being added to the olympics but actual real physical play, thats hard to say. Rugby 7s isnt really as physical as football, the continuous nature of the game makes it so that players arent going all out and spearing nikkas and shyt (it happens).
