I never understood the fascination with that unusual fakkit.
I dapped this in 2015 but had to resurrect it.Prince has an ego beyond this world. He once sent Miles Davis a birthday card and wrote "From God" in the closing Even Miles Davis was like
that short muthafukka could really say he had the "hottest chick in the game"
vanity was halle berry before halle berry or salli richardson and even sexier than both in my opinion
Good argument, I'd go with Halle > Sallie> Vanity
bad=bad tho
I live in Germany now. I walked in an electronics store here and the hip-hop/r&b section is still labeled Black musicfavorite Black single, favorite Black album?
smh @ "Black" being an all-encompassing genre of music
Sounds like you're misinterpreting it.
Isn't Prince a full on Jehovah's Witness ?
I mean his ego can't be so outta control he was tryna talk down to a musician
that for all intent's and purposes completely eclipses him.
@Insensitive it was the bill boggs interview. I should neg you all these years later.I just spent the last 45 minutes trying to find the video for you, just because you called me a liar. I'm not misinterpreting what Miles directly said. The interviewer brought it up, and Miles confirmed it. It's not like Prince was saying he was God in a literal sense, but that he was Miles Davis's God. It was a kind of a joke between the two, but it seems like Prince was trying to aggrandize himself amongst his peer. I agree that Miles eclipses Prince in talent, but it doesn't seem Prince wanted to believe that. Either way, I thought it was funny. There are several interviews on youtube where Miles mentions Prince (which is why it's taking me so long to find it), some about their collaborations in the 80s and some about Miles' thoughts on his music.
Anyways, when I find the video, I'm going to neg you just for questioning me
