I have some "High Yella" cousins who have two black parents. The Melanin spectrum in Black People is acually a scale. Black Men with a White Parent don't overide the powerful gene's Black's produce. This is why more times than not the mixed child black features are strong and very noticeable. Colin actually is a lot darker than many lightskin brothas. Look, I've never been poisioned by the "Lightskin/Darkskin" colorism that comes from Slavery anyway. I've had best friends dark as me or have a white parent and be as light as Colin but they still identified as Black. Being Black is about our color always but Colin didn't invent the "One Drop Rule". In this society he can't pass as white because his skintone is too brown. Also the darkness of his melanin means nothing if he's going against Black people.

We have plenty of darkskin "Stephens" running around here huring the cause. I claim Colin over Sheriff Clarke anyday of the week and he's blacker than Colin. Rodney Harrison is pathetic and lame.
