mocking and insulting the president is different from saying "who wants to see obama run down by a bull". or the nra insinuating his family doesn't deserve the level of protection they get or the gop using actual targets with obama's face on it for areas they should target or the tea party using violent rhetoric towards obama to push their agenda. then you got congressmen shouting at him while he's addressing the nation calling him a liar, something that's never happened to any other president. the level of disrespect is unprecedented.
you can stay in a state of denial if you want but the reality is a lot of this is racially motivated. they hate him because he's a democrat, but they hate him even more because he's black.
