I hope this happens. I like to make fun, but Ward's contract holdup has really affected things around that division and he has some great potential fights.

I am of the opinion that no one at 160 can beat GGG. At 168, I think JCC and Froch are good opponents, but would favor GGG. Ward is the one fighter near GGG's weight class I think deserves to be the favorite.
Eventually I would love to see an Andre-GGG fight. Ward has superior outside boxing skills, while GGG is a harder puncher and much more aggressive fighter.
GGG vs JCC or Froch provides the must see all action fight, where neither guy will back down and keep coming at each other. But Ward provides GGG with the technical fight that can elevate him beyond an offensive destroyer.

As part of #GGGoodBoys, I would love to see it.

As well as the possibility of Ward facing the winner of Kovalev-Hopkins. That would be a great fight. Hopkins-Ward seems unlikely because of their respect for each other, but would be a good passing of the torch fight. If Kovalev beats Hopkins in a close fight where he struggles with Hopkins boxing, Ward should jump on fighting Kovalev as his younger legs and boxing skills would really befuddle Krusher.

My memory isnt good enough to remember everything everyone else has said, lol, but i know what i have said.

GGG and Ward have been calling each other out, but #SOGGang always cries ducking. It isnt ducking to me when Ward cant get in the ring vs anyone, let alone GGG.

If Ward becomes available now the pressure starts on both men to make a fight.

And i never put Ward down as a fighter. He is number 2 on my PFP ballot. He has fought excellent opponents and looked good doing it. I have never been shy to say that Ward would deserve to be the favorite.

I just am not a super stan to rep Ward, just respect the hell out of his skill set.

As a fan i love GGG's style and personality and am #GGGoodBoys.

I would love a matchup vs Ward because he is one of the best true boxers PFP. If GGG won or even an impressive showing, but a close decision proves the overall skillset i think he has, something that no one else (maybe the Dirrell's) would force him to show.

And just my opinion, I think Ward would outbox Kovalev. Kovalev just needs more name recognition for Ward to actually move up. A victory vs Hopkins might be that. :manny:

My memory isn't all that great either friend but I do however remember GGGoodboys talking about #SOGGang picking on smaller fighters. This was before GGG called out Canelo of course.

its a shame wat his career is.

honestly, despite his accolades, i think when is all said and done, his career will be a disappointment of what it could have been.

when was the last time he even fought? like damn near two years ago? :snoop:

its like jordan retiring in his prime. shyts a blasphemy to the fans.

I never felt like Cotto was immediately obligated to fight GGG right away as he isnt a natural 160. If Cotto planned on campaigning there a bit, then he has to give GGG a shot. Part of the reason if he and Canelo fight i would be rooting for Canelo.
Canelo is pretty close to GGG in natural weight, has been struggling to make 154, so i dont consider fighting him picking on a smaller fighter.

As for Ward-GGG matchmaking it all comes down to negotiations, so we will see how those go.
I wouldnt blame if either Ward or GGG put a Froch, JCC (or for GGG add Canelo or Cotto) first because those are quality opponents and provide more money than they would get for each other.

I do think that Ward-GGG probably needs some hype build up by HBO before the fight can take place because both guys will probably want a bigger payday than maybe the market allows right now. But that is business...right now I dont have much doubt either guy wouldnt take the fight.

You right though - that fight would have epic stan wars. :ohlawd:

im a big ggg fan, but that fight against ward would b rough me thinks.

ward is bigger, more skilled, has the range, and has the experience.

but can you honestly imagine if GGG somehow beats ward, say by like KO?

who da fukk would even fight GGG at that point.

the entire boxing game would be like :whoo::whoa:

if u think its hard for GGG to get a fight now,

honestly if he smokes a canelo or ward, there will be practically no one legit to fight him no more.
