Pimpire? :comeon:

But roc got bars looking forward to hearing "sour cream whips/flip em and dip em like chips/shorty ready to strip/I got a ponderosa and 2 bricks/no acrobats/ready to flip/zulu change/bulletholes thru the range/lit it up like a christmas tree/then dump the whip and flee after another 6 brick shopping spree"

I hop the beats have drums this time...Drumless beats ain't hip hop...

you speaking re: KA?

that shyt is beyond dope to me. Not saying I could listen to alot of emcees doing that, but the Metal Clergy fam are next level, KA is vivid as fukk, got me on some "winters coming. ski mask, hard boiled, hibernation gotta get food for the fam" shyt.

After listening to the Marcberg (Classic album in my opinion), I don't know why Roc would deviate from that formula...

Songs like "Snow" and "Panic" just bang too hard...Roc really used some nice drum samples for "Marcberg" I would prefer for him to stick with that formula...

"Reloaded" did not sound as hard, because he neglected the Boom Bap drums...

man, f that
Reloaded was dope for its own reasons

"the dumb are mainly intrigued by the drum" @nineteeneightysix
hehe...Hip Hop is about the drums...And it's so ironic that Master Killa would say that on one of the most hard hitting hip hop songs ever...But that's a different discussion...

The "Marcberg" was THE BEST album I have heard since 2Pac died...You can't possibly name a better album (except maybe for Lil Reese "Don't Like")...I wanted more of the same for at the next 2 albums from Roc, and then after that, He could go on and experiment...

I believe artists should give fans 3 consecutive albums that have a similar sound, the only area the artist should improve are the lyrics, but the sound should be pretty consistent for at least 3 albums...

"Reloaded" was good for what it was, but I only heard it once, and I have not felt like going back to listen again...But when I first heard "Marcberg," it was the only thing I listened to for a whole month, and I mean the ONLY album...

That album is how I really like my sample based Hip Hop...Simple dirty loops with heavily compressed hard hitting drums, nothing fancy or flashy...Just keep it minimal...I love that style of Rap Music...

support reloaded heavy brv, Marcberg was ill for the all the reasons you described, but Reloaded was him really flexing as a producer, we know he got the boom bap, but he cooked up some gourmet shyt for us with that plate.
