I been a Roc fan since the 90's.


And KA is one of THE. Premier MCs in the game on some pure written fire shyt.

Gotta say fellas...I think Marcberg is a classic but the more I hear from Reloaded, the more concerned I get. The beats don't sound grimy at all, they're very odd loops that don't seem to fit his style. Granted this is based off of 30sec snippets, maybe the full songs are dope. But right now I dunno what to think. I spent most of this year assuming he would drop the AOTY. Especially after I heard Emeralds, My Persona (sadly didn't make the album), and 76. But the snippets are just weird to me, man...

I haven't listened to the snippets. Are they on the minimal tip like Luv NY or Ka's album? Because I fukkin love that approach for retro New York acts. It's more effective than the busy, microwave boom Bap Statik Selektah does.

Nah I love the production on both those albums. This stuff is just loops that don't appeal to me. Some rock loops, a weird jazz loop, an odd vocal loop, etc. I'm not saying nothing sounds dope: a few tracks do. But I don't hear the slick loops and hard drums of Marcberg...


perhaps the album will make me look like a fool by being awesome. I hope so, I love Roc's shyt

Coppin this shyt and expecting it to be a 4 mic minimum. Marcberg is a classic and he seems to have maintained or even improved since then. I put nikkas onto Ka over on sohh and Grief Pedigree is still a top 5 album this year to me. The other shyt we need to be anticipating is that Roc and Ka collabo ALBUM Metal Clergy - May Piece Be With You. I think Ka and Roc are producing the whole thing.
