Great album.....only thing I have a complaint about is "personality". Roc is a great writer but personality will be what keeps him back from really elevating.

You have to have the full package. That's what seperates some others. His personality is kind of boring.

Dunno, I like his personality. He brags a lot in rhyme but doesn't do it outside of that; that gives me the impression he's a real dude who doesn't need to pretend to be a gangster, he is.

His live shows probably hold him back. His voice doesn't seem to translate well live.

I would normally agree. I find most of these grimey NYC neo-boom bap rappers very dull and lacking personality.

But Marc just pulls off that gutter, low-key shyt better than any rapper around. I just find his flow captivating......shyt is hypnotic. He's like an ill combo of Raekwon, G Rap and Royal Flush.
