I'm gonna admit right here..... I couldn't stand Knowledge the Pirate when I first heard him on Reloaded. Now, though?

Freeway came through, I barely recognized him without the animated yelling. This shyt fits him more. Menacing growl. Knowledge REFUSES to let a nikka outdo him, though. lol

Only got as far as the Boldy James joint. Never heard of dude, either. But his "Living in the projects, missing meals. Eating gas station combos, that a cigarrel', a pack of squares, some Mambas and a ginger ale" LITERALLY made me go "UUUGGGHHHNNN!!! " when I heard it in the parking lot. Such a real line. lmao

So far I'm not liking it more than Pimpire, but like someone said earlier, this isn't really a solo Marci album. I'm really just thinking abou tsnatching the tags off of all of Marci's solo work from Reloaded on and just tagging it as one long ass album. lol

you could see the decline in some of the self produced stuff on Reloaded, now its just wtf. a couple beats on his next album would be ok, but keep Al/Lib and others on deck cuz they are just worlds better at producing

thats fine, i been onto Roc since 01 i know his A material when i hear it. the lack of drums, ultra chopped vocal samples, hes trying to be Alchemist so bad and it just doesnt sound right. hes at his best when he backs his loops up with good drums (76/Scarface nikka etc) i didnt hear that in any of these. track with Mega is cool its the only one i think ill keep

I agree to an extent man some of the beats on here are bangers (the sas track, soul music, drug lord, war scars) but to me that 4,5,6 beat is ass. He had some offkey loops on his older stuff but the drums kinda glued it all together..producers taking this no drum style too far these days
