This is one of the best albums ive heard in life full stop

I was in Amsterdam at the time, my wife secured 2 weeks worth of work out there, I joined her. The day this album dropped I was in the main Amsterdam park sparking a fat Kosher Kush joint ... The "Deja vu" joint came on and I heard Sun Rah talking about "The same thing that created the tree created me" ... I looked around and was surrounded by paraquets and stalks flying through and landing on tree branches.

Same time I was messaging my boy back in Ldn making sure we was listening to the same classic material.

Ill never forget that moment for the rest of my life.

So it’s not really one of the best albums you ever heard…it’s just always going to be hand in hand with one of the most memorable trips/times of your life so, because of that, you’re maybe too generous with the praise. Fire album….not a classic, not one of the best albums you ever heard either lol

I feel you man. I was in Amsterdam last December and all I was listening to were Freddie Gibbs' "$oul $old $eparately" and Boldy James' "Bo Jackson".it was amazing experience especially since it was cold and grey at that time. both of these albums now hold sentimental value for me.

Hands down this is my favorite Roc Marci album. I like the special edition/bonus track album better than the OG even tho it's pretty much the same. That album cover is what makes it special.

The production has this classy, elegant, and jazzy sound going for it.

“It takes a village to raise a kid but still could produce an idiot”.

The title track with the jazz lady's vocals 😌
