This sounds great off first listen. Very melodic, smooth instrumentals and Roc is ill.

I sometimes wish he would do a more upbeat high energy album, I sort of miss that from Flipmode and even Marcberg days. But nevermind he perfected this style.

This definitely a headphones album. Two spins today (one headphones and one car) and I'ma try and let it rest until the official release date.

I'd say I listen to 90% of my music while I'm driving, and so I think the albums with Boldy, Currensy, etc are a little easier on the ears and smooth when driving. This production is really dense, but also not as left field as I was expecting (and that's a good thing). I was nervous after Deja Vu single, which is the weakest joint on here. They both could have gone weirder on this but I like that they chose not to

Dense lyrics and wordplay. Roc sounds cleaner here than the last album. The fronts he's got in his mouth don't sound as abrasive. I don't like this as much as Reloaded, Marcberg, or Dark Horse, but I can see this being in my top 5 Roc albums alongside Marcielago.

There are more drums on here than I was expecting but still a little less than I’d like… But I got to give that up. it’s Roc

Favorite joints off 2 spins. No particular order.

Quantum Leap
Zig Zag Zig
Trillion Cut
Zip Guns
Rubber Hand Grip
Daddy Kane
Bubble Bath
JJ Flash

It had no less drums than Reloaded does. I didn’t expect it to be on that level. That’s actually starting to crack my top 10 all time fav hip hop albums. I actually like Roc albums when I drive. Especially at night. It’s smooth as fukk. Lol. My main listening of Reloaded was in the whip. My young homie (24 years old) mainly listens to Roc in the whip too. Lol.

I listen to reloaded all the time in the car too. But the other big difference is I think Roc’s changed his rhyme style a little bit since then. I feel like he used to stay in the pocket or even behind the beat a little bit. Now he seems to weave in and out and just sort of rap wherever he wants. It’s still really dope but I kinda miss that older style.

Very good body of work after one listen. I agree that this is a headphones album... but not a bad thing.
