They could have. I've got 4 tracks left and it's the only real miss on here for me. I wasn't hyped for this album at all after the single and it feels like these 2 guys knew the expectations and met the moment on this one

Crazy. Deja Vu could've been left off the album but every other joint is incredible or very solid. This is one of Al's top 3 produced collab projects. It's still under Covert Coup to me, but that might be it. So many different styles of beats on here, and some beats styles I've never heard from him before.
Roc is in top form. Seems way sharper to me than Mt Marci and sounds cleaner. Tons of quotables. They kinda swerved people with the Ice-T feature. It's just him talking but the other features come correct.

Like I said, disliked that single but I had total faith in the project - first quick listen in the car and this was worth it.
Alchemist isn't my favorite producer for entire projects, but he kept up with Roc Marci on this one. It's way too early to rank or rate it but this is dope, somehow Roc always gets me to buy the digitals
