the theory has backing whether the Igbos claim Israelite descent or not. Read the Hebrewisms of West Africa and you will see various tribes and cultures in addition to the Igbos who have borrowed traditions of the Israelites. That is because Jews/N*ggers traveled across africa until they were rounded up and sold into slavery. The modern day descendants of those slaves are still called n*ggers/nigers until this day. Heart of a slave doesn't tie in the history of slavery and the African American community. Anyone can have the heart of a slave. The way Nas said it was right. But you're arguing with a troll.this is how i took it.
nas growing up went through struggles and especially during this time period was (1999-2001)going through a lot of struggles both personally and professionally and that is why he was making the comparisons to slavery. on top of that he actually like all african americans does come from the slave bloodline and had to overcome all kinds of obstacles to eventually rise (in other words show heart) to the 'throne' to rule his kingdom -blood of a slave, heart of a king!!!!
