I know, someone posted it on the first page and I was compelled to express my love for it :yeshrug:

Seriously, same here. I still remember what I was doing that fall/winter when that shyt came out. Damn... truly timeless. I always got love for free.

The combination of good words and big sales makes it evident that A LOT of people fukked with it.

600k first week has absolutely nothing to do with making it critically acclaimed

encore sold like 700k and got average reviews, we gonna roll around callin that acclaimed?

Encore sold 700k and got average reviews, which indicated that A LOT of people considered it average at least within the hiphop community.
I don't know what the fukk the cac (I don't like hiphop, but I love eminem) type of cats thought about the album.

I don't know what the fukk the crackers thought about the album.

the reviews are practically identical. So i guess the dynasty was average as well

the dynasty was a good album, no one is saying its bad but you're up in here calling it critically acclaimed :rudy:

Most hiphop albums had standard wack reviews by non-hiphop sites back in the days. And Eminem always had higher from those sites than other rappers, I didn't even take those into consideration. But from hiphop sites/papers, the reviews were not the same. Also Em averaged 64/100, The dynasty is too old but it would probably have 80+. Which means Universal Acclaim.

Identical where? Roc-la-famila has 1 review below 4 mics, Em obviously has a bunch since he averages 64.
The only ones identical are the oldest and whitest sources rollingstone and allmusic. They seem to give out random reviews.

I agree with The Source and MTV that it's critically acclaimed, you dudes (mostly nas stans) don't (surprise).
So what's the deal. It's not even my top 5 of 2000, but it's still a very dope album imo, no one asked you to agree.

I thought Dynasty was hot but it had some garbage tracks on it, I agree.

My favorite joint was This Can't Be Life.

And the garbage joints to me were:

I just wanna love u (u know, The Neptunes joint that got mad radio play. Its was a hot single at 1st but I've heard it so many times I can't listen to it no more)
Guilty Until Proven Innocent
Parking Lot Pimpin
You, Me, Him, Her

Also funny how they promoted this album as a rocafella crew album and Amil as one of the big rappers on the project and she ended up having one verse on the whole album

I heard Jay fell out with her and that's why she was scratched from the project.

Yea, I actually did that shyt. 100 percent truth, no lie. :jawalrus:
