Generally speaking comics/novels and movies have nothing to do with each other. Look at Marvel or DC comics vs their movies. Look at the "Alien" or "Hellraiser" graphic novels, vs their movies.
Not officially... for copyright reasons, but the writer of that film is a huge WH40K fan.
Taken in the context of 40k lore, Event Horizon is the story humankind's first encounter with, and unintentional discovery of, the Immaterium (the Warp).
It is a poorly written comic book, because the actual writers of the two cinematic universes had them happening at the times I stated. So, they did a retcon, but that retcon makes no sense since the one they say started it all, Robocop, happened after Terminator.
