You see this shyt all the time. Mike tyson has been making god knows how many appearances the last few years and they just won't stop going back to talking/laughing about past troubles. They want to have a moral leg up and a juicy talking point forever. The intent is wicked. Talk about some other shyt

These press/paparazzi/journalist dudes get away with waaaay too much.

Imagine being at your fukking job and some random dude comes up and asks you about shytty periods of your life, "Ok Vince I know you're here to do a job and I appreciate that......but what did it really feel like watching your dad struggle with alcoholism and ultimately lose the fight?"

On some Chappelle Tron in the Mad Real World shyt, "You should be happy we don't just fukk you up....We could just do that, we reserve the right to fukk you up"

Man.

At 6:14 you just watch the way he's breathing. That anger is so deep. Interviewer was way out of bounds. I thought Bob Downey kept his cool. He played it about as nice and polite as someone could be that's as angry as he obviously was. When you've struggled with demons like that, it's always super painful and difficult, and to have to drummed up like that for a comic book movie promo by some fukkhead that just wants to troll and get a reaction?

That's the same interviewer that fukked with Quentin Tarantino too.

Robert Downey is talented, and i respect him, his recent projects aren't my taste at all…but I'm sensitive to this for my own reasons, I have almost 10 years clean and sober, and that shyt is not a big deal to me (in an overly dramatic/self righteous type of way) like I joke around all the time, always around drugs and alcohol, etc etc….but, what DOES bother me, is when I see friends, people who were close to me who I haven't seen in years and years, and they ask about it, in the most timid, but insulting way…with euphemisms and hanging questions, innuendos about 'taking care of myself', and 'you look healthy'.

All that to say, it's fukked up, but for maybe the rest of my life, at least a degree of family members, friends, loved one, will associate me with having a drug/alchohol addiction….for me it's frustrating, but I suppose thats the price to pay. Ask about it, laugh about it with me, but move the fukk on, it's been 10 years. Now, for a professional in a professional capacity, that kind of line of questions would be unacceptable for em too.

Same here man. I had a hard time because really the only person in my life that would ask about things or hint at them in innuendos and everything just so happened to be my best friend, and it messed with me for a long time. Things are better now though. But I agree, I think it's unprofessional and unacceptable. I mean what did this guy think Downey was gonna say to him, if Downey WAS doing drugs still. "Oh yeah man, damn, you got me. I smoked crack 10 minutes ago."

It's such a moronic question. It's a movie press junket. Not the tell all interview. Trolling ass interviewer man. It's definitely always something that you carry with you, and Downey obviously knows that, and was polite about it, but I know that exact feeling at 6:14. That's just trying to hold all the raw rage and pain from all those demons. I actually respect Downey Jr. a lot more just because of how he handled himself in this situation. I thought he was super professional about it.

I think he should have just said no I'm not doing drugs anymore and kept it moving. It was something he did, his sensitivity to it is only a reflection on himself. Getting up and walking out is basically like feeding a troll.
