I know I always end up disappointed with his movies but Im still excited to watch every new one. :yeshrug:

Lords of Salem was him doing a Polanski movie, it was more along the lines of Repulsion and The Tenant than anything else.

I think people get turned off by his movies because they're all collections of things Rob Zombie likes. So it's all swearing, violence, Halloween, B-movies, etc etc. He doesn't make any effort to disguise that he's really making these movies for himself. He's almost like Tarantino (not in terms of quality).

excellent analysis:obama: When House of 1000 Corpses came out, I enjoyed it because it was fun, campy, and not all "Zombie"...but then when Devils Rejects dropped, that shyt was a fukking chore to sit through..then the rest of his movies got worse and worse (what he did to the Michael Myers character should be considered a class A felony)
