“They saw how my performance was, they saw how his performance was, they saw how much people were [not] ****ing with him, and they’re making me perform before him,” Ski Mask states. “Statistically, I shouldn’t even perform before him. Looking at numbers, I shouldn’t have to perform before him because it doesn’t make sense. My numbers are way higher than his in general. Then performance wise, this nikka is ass. He doesn’t do good in general in performance. So they were trying to throw him off [the tour] and he was angry as ****.”
Ski Mask says the April 10 show in San Diego was supposed to be his final show on the tour, as he claims Rob $tone couldn’t get kicked off the tour because AEG would have to pay Rob $75,000 for breach of contract. “Only reason I even came to the show is because everybody was begging me. A lot of people were coming to see me. That’s the only reason I even went and was gonna do this show,” says Ski.
“When I went to the show, the nikka that was half-ass managing the tour tried to make me perform without paying me,” he continues. “And I was like, ‘nikka, I’m not gonna perform if you don’t pay me.’ So this nikka was like, ‘Alright, well, I guess you’re not gonna perform and you’re not gonna get paid.’ I was like, ‘That’s completely fine because nikka I don’t give a **** anyway.’ I don’t need anybody. All I need is myself.
“This nikka tells me, ‘Oh, you’re not gonna perform and you can’t tell your fans that you’re not performing.’ Because I actually was gonna tell my fans I’m not performing on the mic. I was like, ‘nikka, I don’t know what you’re saying, but I’m gonna go tell my fans on the mic that I’m not performing.’ Because they’re gonna think I didn’t even pull up and they’re gonna be mad.”
In the video footage of the tour stop in San Diego that made its way online, that’s when Ski appears onstage. “I go onstage before anybody’s performance,” he says, “They’re just playing random music, and I asked Rob $tone’s homeboy if I could please get the mic from him real quick and I’ll give it back. This nikka said, ‘No.’ So I’m staring at this nikka and then his people, they weren’t even security, they were just his peoples, came trying to escort me off the stage.
“Then security came onstage, and the nikka that was with security, which is one of Rob $tone’s peoples also, grabs me by the arm hard, and I grab his hand and throw him off of me like, ‘What’s up with you?’ Then he jumps at me, like to intimidate me. So that was the first ****-up, and the crowd recorded that ****.”
The Twitter spat between Rob, Ski and XXX followed, and Ski claims Rob direct-messaged him after that to say he didn’t have any problems with Ski. “Last thing he sent me was, ‘Tell your homeboy to chill out on all that taunting ****’ because X was threatening the **** out of him,” says Ski, who believes Rob jumped him onstage and recorded it for clout as a public response to X’s threats.
“I go to the show [on April 10] only because I didn’t want to seem ****,” continues Ski. “I didn’t think, even if he was gonna jump me, he was gonna do it like that, by jumping me on the stage and not even give me the heads up that he’s about to jump me or wait until I’m done performing and then be like, ‘What’s up with that **** you was talking yesterday with your peoples?’ I would have respected that more; everybody would have respected if he had just asked me for a one-on-one, but this nikka didn’t even have the decency to jump me after the show when I’m acknowledging it and I’m prepared.
“nikka jumped me while I was performing, and nobody can respect that, because that shows you’re scared. You got 40-year-old nikkas to jump little old me. I’m not even six foot, I’m not that big. So he had to be either intimidated or hating on me, hating on the fact that they were trying to throw him off tour, hating on the fact that I was getting more love than him in both cities, because Desiigner still brought me out [during the April 9 show] even after I came late.
Ski claims he was rushed by Rob $tone and at least eight people on his team while holding the mic onstage. “[Rob $tone] doesn’t touch me once in that whole video,” Ski says. “He grabs me, and grabs the mic, and then other people rush me, and when I come offstage, people think I was tackled offstage by his people. No. One of my nikkas pushed us all offstage to get them off me. I jump back on the stage looking at these nikkas and it’s like eight nikkas squaring up with me, plus security, old ass nikkas, for little old me. So I’m like aight, I start running to get outside and they’re jumping me the whole time I’m going outside.
“The whole time I’m getting jumped, I didn’t get knocked out. They didn’t do anything to me that they should have if you’re gonna jump a nikka. You’re all old as ****. So I didn’t get knocked out, and in the situation I was in, anybody would have had to handle it like that, because I reached outside, the doors was locked to my car and I see my homeboy getting ****ed up, so I go to jump in. nikkas was kicking me in the chest and punching me in the chest, hitting me in the face. They had me down, had a nikka winded, and I got 10 nikkas kicking me in the chest. I couldn’t breath.”
During the fight, Ski says a member of his crew was injured once he was stabbed. “Then they brought knives, they stabbed one of my homeboys in the mouth. Like you literally trying to kill me over me getting your set and your money and you hating on me,” Ski reveals. “I can’t respect that ****, you could have asked me for a one-on-one. There didn’t have to be no knives involved, no gang bangers involved. He basically handled it like a ho trying to get clout. Because he could have handled it totally differently. I’m at the same hotel he’s at. He could have seen me at the hotel and tried to fight me, but this nikka waited until he knew I’d do the first part of my set where I turn the lights out, and he tried to jump me.
“Police come, get them off me, nikkas get arrested. I didn’t snitch to nobody ‘cause I’m not gonna snitch. I’m basically Cam’ron, I get shot, I’m not finna snitch. So I’m on the floor, because anybody this happened to when they’re alone would be down. Paramedics come get me, managed to pick me up, and as soon as they pick me up, [Rob’s people are] talking **** and my nikkas are still talking **** to them. So my nikkas don’t look for them after that, I didn’t even want to go to the hospital, I made them nikkas drop me off. I had to sign papers to leave the ambulance. I’m not ****. Nothing in my blood is ****. But 10 nikkas was kicking me, you’re not supposed to get jumped like that. I’m 20 years old, these nikkas like 30, 40.”
Ski says he thinks he was set up by either the tour managers or the security at the venue. “I feel like people that were working with the tour helped [Rob $tone] because they weren’t trying to give me like two wristbands for my friends to get in, but they gave [Rob $tone’s peoples] 30 wristbands for all them nikkas to get in,” says Ski. “And you know what’s crazy? The security was in on it. Because when I jumped in the crowd, usually security helps me back onstage, but security looked at me, sized me up, threw me to the side, and when the fight broke out, security was hitting me too. Security was in on it.”
