Cant compare with the old days, as people weren’t as flexible in changing teams. He’s not the only one doing these blockbuster trades, the younger guys do it as well. Everyone does it, so why wouldn’t Lebron? Meanwhile MJ did what everyone did in his era, which was limited blockbuster trades.

You can say that, but nobody wants to see this dude have a devastating injury this late in his career. There is no reason for him to still be playing the game. He is asking for his body to eventual break down at any given time playing this long. I also can't agree fully that he would be the best #2 in the entire league because of the same issue, being his age and availability going forward. He is really going to have to start scaling things back a bit if he wants to survive next season.
