Honestly if my local politician is getting shyt done I could careless what they do with their time. If smoking crack and fukking hookers means lower taxes and cleaner streets for me then
You know what? I kind of agree with you. In America we focus so much on on things like, is this guy a family man? And does he love God, and a number of other things. I even remember "respectable" new organizations saying they like Mitt Romney because he looked presidential, and most recently people were/are saying Chris Christie should lose weight before he officially begins his candidacy.
Most politicians already lie, and now we want them to further exaggerate the lie by the flaunting their fake happy family around for votes. We deep down inside know that things aren't the paradise they make it seem like, but are willing to vote based on that lie, because it makes us feel comfortable.
Don't worry about about the economy, tax raises, and crime. Worry if he goes to church on Sunday, and if he has a clean shaven face.
