To be honest it's hard to tell how much bad stuff we saw was actually from Road Dogg, and how much of it was just Vince saying "No way pal, change that and this, and make so and so put over Charlotte." RD might have had some good ideas on what to do, but Vince is always there okaying and vetoing everything we see. Likewise, we don't know how much dumb shyt was his idea, and Vince changed to make them better.

We don't know and the only thing that's constant it Vince is in charge and ultimately we should be concerned with him, not his rotating wheel of head writers. He's on set all the time dictating the shows we watch and that's not changing. The only writer that might change things would be one that Vince respects and listens to. Who knows wtf that would be though.

Vince purposely made Smackdown into WWE Smarkdown, with smaller guys and fan favorite wrestlers being pushed. Raw is still his flagship sports entertainment show while Smackdown is closer to what the fans ask for. But he still little mans the show when it goes against Raw, and usually positions their belts as less important on the PPVs. Brock,Ronda, Roman etc have always been treated as headliners while Smackdown guys are usually played as second tier on their shows. That's how I see it and I think that's how Vince wants it to be.
