I don’t think folks know how hard it is to dead a persons entire career in 10 minutes

Rocky was a monster on the mic
Let's talk about today..empty arenas, right? Who was in the most classic empty arena situation ever? The Rock had one liners back to back..he didnt have that fukking crowd..he's just great and he understands how his presentation needs to be. Some of that was going in that Know Your Role tape in 99 too.

I wonder how many people Rock made mad for real with his promos. Rock used to cook dudes.
Nash, Cripple H, Bischoff...crippled The Rebel on twitter in 2011 when he was bytching about Rock headlining WM 28 "its simple business, Punk, the Rock is headlining because he draws more in one night than you will in your career"

Having a wrestler marry your daughter creates a serious conflict of interest. How can Vince not see that? He uses his backstage powers to bury many rising stars in PPV matches. If he had this much power in the 90s The Rock/Austin wouldn't be big stars. Think of all the big stars today that will never make it because of HHH's backstage influence. I even read somewhere that the Montreal screwjob was pitched by HHH! Breh is a legit cancer to the WWE. Vince is too coked up to see this.

He was 26, making millions, and was already WWF champion and headlining Mania. Tough pill to take after ripping off the Nwo in a comedy take and thinking it would be a goldmine.

Triple H was highly jealous of The Rock and Shawn was insecure too prior. I always could see it in The Rock, even in the Rocky Maivia days. He was actually pretty good in the ring as well as having charisma, I'm glad he fulfilled his potential and probably exceeded everybody's expectations too.

They were all jealous of Rocky. All of them michaels hhh billy Gunn road Dogg. I think xpac was the only one who wasn’t. White boys couldn’t stand the sight of a Black man being in that spot
X-Pac and Rock had some amazing matches together in 98

6:00. Triple H was big mad. :russ:

Brian Gerwitz talked how he wrote that bit for Rock and Rock loved it so much that he had him do it to Vince and HHH in a meeting. Gerwitz didn’t want to do it since he knew how insecure Triple H was. He did it eventually, Rock was laughing while Triple H was .
