He's shown flashes before and has put up decent numbers for the most part but i do believe there is another level to his game. Just not ready to say he's reached it quite yet but you can see he has improved pretty much every year he's been in the league in one way or another.

Nizz...him & Brunson are both emboldened to take more iso shots tho bc of their world championships exp in the summer

The only good ball movement on that squad comes from the 2nd unit

RJ is still the same player from the eye test

Seems like the same old Thibs ran offensive philosophies

I believe...RJ has made steady improvement every year. This summers xp will be invaluable for this season. I just hope him and Brunson's body hold up.

Nah, RJ ain’t taking no iso shots like that the vast majority of his offense has been assisted.

He’s scoring off C&S’s, transition leak outs, the occasional bully ball drive

Some things have changed he tweaked his shot release, he’s been picking his spots better and letting the game come to him, and he looks bigger, also Julius struggles have made him de facto number two option, another thing is he’s being used as a screener more. He’s still forcing ugly ass drives.

He’s been alright through 4 games nothing indicative of a leap he looks like a solid starter/replacement level player. He’s a streaky player it’s to be seen if he can sustain this shooting. When he’s off he’s fukking WOAT.

Forcing those ugly drives is iso work :what:

He should be able to play an Iggy style game based on his measurables but his IQ isn't Iggy-level and he has no feel for the game

Kid should have the talent to be a #3 or at least #4 on a chip contender if it all comes together...but I just don't see the improvement

If RJ was American you would’ve gave up on him after his first game in his rookie year. You showing him more patience since he Canadien :mjpls:
As someone should

If he was American he'd probably be on his way out of the league due to a hotdog/hamburger and tik Tok addiction

Playing with Canadians and beating the puny weak Americans this summer has probably carried over alot.

His athleticism, ball handling, vision, defense is also nowhere near Iguodala.

He’s more like a smaller wing version of Julius Randle.
