Turning tony stark into a generally evil dude during the new avengers-civil war-secret invasion era was great writing, and TO THIS DAY the charactor of ironman is mentally tainted to me; when watching the movies, downey jr makes me think of that douchebag ironman in civil war, not the hero before and after.

He is a way better heel than face to apply wrestling terms.

and captain america was the goat. Matter of fact the whole civil war was goat, if only they followed it up better.

He got slapped around by Stryfe or should I say SONNED TO DEATH by Stryfe and Sinister made a joke out of him for years. He was always secondary and Storm/Wolverine/Jean's story meant more than his until Fraction came on board. All of a sudden everyone around him was "old" and he was cool and they took Magneto elements to transfer to him. Same slick shyt Bendis did with New Avengers when he replaced them with his favorites and had them call talking like Spider-Man because he didn't know how to write credible dialogue.

bendis was really bad at that on NA

Is that right? Never knew that. It was brought up by Wizard a LONG time ago and I never checked back on it. Didn't think they would have the balls to let Talia and Batman stay that connected.

And if there was one CHARACTER change I didn't like over the last several years it was the fact that Cable ended up being Cyclops son. It would of been poetic justice if Stryfe was the son and Cable was the fukking clone. The lines Stryfe had in X-Cutioner's Song were some of the best quotables of that time frame.

I was a HUGE fan of the evil nightcrawler wolverine and the x-force brought back from the alternate earth. nightcrawler always had the slickest powers to me and it killed me that he was such a pacifist.

I know everything about spidey (pre one more day) x-men on the other hand If yall say so I just thought it always cool that cyclops was a dead beat dad to cable but no one ever talks about it.

Oh yeah..Cable 44 i think. Never forgot that because I wanted to see if was gonna give her a hard time over her being a villain and the relationship with Nate Grey. I dont think it was a fight. It was called Sins of the Mother.

I really like what they're doing with the punisher now. But nothin is topping ennis' run imo. Any of yall got links to some of these stories? I know they got the comic thread but just asking here before I go through it page by page.
