Hardcore Right-wingers have tried to make their own social media or services, multiple times. It's rarely successful, too much in-fighting and most of the time they're terribly childish and have shyt personalities. Plus mainstream advertisers and such don't want to get involved either and that's where most of the money is other than charging your users.
So either they just go with the small number of users they have or it crashes and burns. It's why they want mainstream SM to allow them to fire off their racist shyt without consequences forgetting these companies are not the government and thus can do what they want, funny thing is most SM leans right anyway.
