The movie is in my favorites, obviously gorgeously shot and a throwback to the late 90's era of movie stars, but seeing this in a theater at age 14 was such an intense experience. I walked out of there and didn't know what the fukk I was thinking. That's how movies were or are supposed to impact you. In the streaming/algorithim era, that has been lost.

I was horrified and kind of sickened, but also throughly engaged and entertained.

How is it? I loved the movie.

If the show is good maybe they’ll adapt the other books in the series.

I really enjoyed it. it is weird to have him be almost 50 though and dikkie looking old af too.

the cinematography was gorgeous. it was glacially paced though. how many scenes did we get of him checking in and out of hotels and also them complimenting his pen. lol.
