He was in a trap full of drugs, guns and felons. It was either run or go sit down 10-20 years. The police weren’t supposed to be there so he assumed the worst and got tf up outta there
If that’s the case the lady wouldn’t have been arrested

Huh? She called in a false report of a woman being beaten bloody and shot at. Now she's saying she was talking about herself which she clearly wasn't on the recording. Basically she herself has confirmed she was lying. When the cops came did she come out and say hey, help me, I'm the victim? NOPE. Easy conviction.

Not "against the law" isn't the same as "she won't be charged with manslaughter"

Maybe next time you'll tighten up before running in a thread mad calling people dumb :coffee:
Bro STFU I got $100 she won't be charged with anything

summary...

Young Scooter, born Kenneth Bailey, was a prominent Atlanta-based rapper who tragically passed away on his 39th birthday, March 28, 2025. His death is tied to a chain of events initiated by a false 911 call, leading to widespread discussion about the circumstances surrounding it.

Incident Timeline and Death

  • On March 28, Atlanta police responded to a distressing 911 call made by Demetria Spence, who reported gunfire and a woman being dragged into a residence at 273 William Nye Drive SE in Atlanta. The call described potential drug and violent activities, including claims that a woman was being severely beaten. However, police later found no evidence to substantiate these claims 1 3 7.
  • Upon arrival, officers encountered the residence's occupants. Two men fled from the back of the house; one returned indoors while the other, identified later as Young Scooter, attempted to escape by jumping over fences. During this, he sustained a severe leg injury from fence debris, resulting in significant blood loss and his death at Grady Memorial Hospital shortly after 1 4 7.
  • The Fulton County Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death as accidental, noting that the injury led to fatal hemorrhaging 4 6.

The 911 Call and Arrest of Demetria Spence

  • The 911 call made by Spence was central to the series of events. She alleged witnessing violent activities and provided detailed, albeit fabricated, accounts of a woman being in danger. Police released audio recordings of the call and later identified Spence as the caller, arresting her on April 1, 2025, for transmitting a false public alarm under Georgia law 1 8.
  • In a surprising turn, Spence reportedly claimed via social media that she herself had been the victim in the situation, contradicting her original account. This claim was met with skepticism, and authorities proceeded with legal actions against her 7.

Legal and Investigative Outcomes

  • Spence faces charges for her role in prompting the false alarm. Investigators confirmed that the 911 call led to the police response, which ultimately resulted in Young Scooter’s attempt to flee and his subsequent death. While her motives remain unclear, her actions have drawn significant legal consequences 1 3 7.
  • The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Atlanta Police continue to examine the case, though no evidence of a physical altercation, gunfire, or the alleged female victim has been found 6 8.

Public Reaction

Young Scooter’s death has sparked outcry and discussions regarding misuse of emergency services and the liabilities attached. Known for his collaborations with artists like Gucci Mane and Future, his death marks a tragic loss for Atlanta's hip-hop community 5 6.

You lost that bet. She was picked up and charged. Also apparently it is against the law. “If serious bodily harm or death results from the response of a public safety agency” involuntary manslaughter not off the table. Ultimately she is responsible for his death as stated BY LAW.

This is crazy. I just heard the 911 call without keeping up with the latest. I knew that caller was BS. I watched enough body cam videos and 911 calls online to tell when somebody doing too much

nikkas asking why he ran from police :what:

This is an unfortunate situation, but it still begs the question…what was he doing there in the first place
