I gotta say it, if it hasn’t been said… What a dumb ass way to go out on your birthday!

Well if the family comes out and refutes the police, then we'll know but they haven't.

His son already claimed they were lying though :yeshrug:

The police story is that someone answered the door and closed it when they knocked. They then set a perimeter around the house yet still somehow allowed Scooter and someone else to run away. Then, for whatever reason, the second person comes back and next think we know Scooter is dead. Maybe it happened this way, but it sounds too stupid to just believe it without more evidence like an autopsy or body cam

So believe it happened this way because they said so?
What's believable is that he wasn't shot by police, that the police drove him to the hospital, that he died while in operation for his leg, that police were responding to gunshots, and that he ran.

If you can fill in some fantasy with those factors, and make it the police fault, go ahead I guess :yeshrug:

Or we can just wait for the independent investigation, which is being conducted right now.

What's believable is
Yea I took the full story they told and explained how it’s not a believable story until more evidence comes out while you ignored the part that’s not believable and said wait until more evidence comes out. What are you even disagreeing with?

I’m disagreeing with you saying what he said wasn’t believable because the police/doctors said it. And even that it’s stupid to believe, without seeing it with your own eyes.

That is that he didn’t get shot, that he didn’t injure his leg, didn’t run and that he didn’t bleed out.

The police gave a short high level story with little details and are themselves trying to understand what happened. But the way it’s sounding with some is like they gave a full story that explains it all, from their perspective.

I actually asked why the police should be automatically believed. Especially in a story where they say they set a perimeter around a house yet somehow still allowed 2 people to run away. I've never seen someone escape a house with an armed perimeter around it then be allowed to return on their own (without a chase being mentioned).

It could have happened exactly as they said, but it should be obvious why some are questioning it. More power to you if you believe police off the rip when it comes to potential misconduct
