I spent about a year of my school life telling people this when they kept going on about how Scary Movie was "like, so fukking clever and funny".

House I grew up in resembles the house in nightmare. Sometime I drive by it and I can hear that theme music.

that scene was so well done. The fact that she was SO CLOSE to her parents made it that more intense. Her mom hears her take her last breaths on the phone then sees her hanging from a tree with her intestines pulled out seriously one of the most horrifying scenes in cinema history.

...little girls singing/jumpin rope in front of Elm Street House was serenely shot
