Ya make fun of fandom and call people stans and warriors but if his shytty beef was a actual war drake by sheer fans would demolish meek so it doesn't matter what meek says.

He doesn't hold nearly as much weight and likability as drake. No one of relevancy is taking meek side so drake will still be the "top" rapper nikka.

Cmon fellas shyt is stupid. I'm not taking sides but it's a popularity contest that meek won't win.

Baaahhh humbug

I mean I agree with you :manny:

Tbh it doesn't really matter what Meek responds with, Drake's fanbase is like 4x as big as his, media outlets have been caping for Drake since this stuff started, regardless of what happens the general public will side with Drake. Meek could drop a diss track harder than Ether and it won't matter

If you really think about it, how else would Drake respond? He stayed in his skin, because from a power position, if he tried to go Pac "hit em up" style and failed, he'd look way worse. See "superugly" as an example. When you let an opponent emotionally play you out of your identity, you already loss. And I'm not sure that Drake has that dog in him (i could be wrong, as I was wrong about Nas). Meek really isn't a threat to Drake on any level, and Drake responded as such. This track feels dismissive

I don't think drake wants to battle because it's not advantageous at all. What angle could Drake really expose besides Meek being an emo? The "i fukked nicki" angle would cost him his relationship with her, and Meek holds the advantage in straight street talk--which is what everyone expects from a diss(hence the reaction to drake's "response")

Now as far as addressing the allegations of ghostwriting, a battle with Meek Mill won't appease anyone about that anyway. He'll likley focus on dropping hits, Address it on his terms, and the whole thing will blow over.

I will say this though, the rules of hip hop that i grew up listening to call for you to respond accordingly to ANYBODY who challenges you or your pen game. But we can't pretend like this state of hip hop is even comparable to back then.

I wonder what this means for the rest of MMG.. and even French Montana..

Drake shoulda kept his mouth shut.. If there's one city he shouldn't mess with that city is Philly

Meek would probably be the one to go there, if this became more than just a silly "oh he didn't promote my album, so let me speak on him to help it get some more sales" twitter beef. Drake ain't bout that. That much is certain.

Both will be alright after this thou. I can see Meek ripping him in a track thou with a lot of laughter in the background.

Even though the diss track was garbage, and all of this is going on because a nikka is using ghostwriters, it feels good to have some rap beef again :ohlawd:

I don't think this qualifies as beef breh.... Meek got into his feelings (again) because Drake didn't tell people to go out and cop his new album. And now Drake wants to bring a pillow to something that could potentially be a gun fight with this soft Charmin ass response in which he didn't address either Meek directly or the prospects of having other dudes write his shyt.

I don't know what to call it at this point (maybe just fukkery?), but it ain't "rap beef".

:patrice: You my Sixers breh but Meek got washed by Reed on the regular during them days especially on that Dolla Day mixtape.

Not about battle about the emotion feeling city of spittas Drake out of his league with rap battling. Look at his response. Safaree would of came harder
