drake has rap skills like a singer and that shows his dedication that more rappers need.....but he aint creating every aspect of the lyrics which is important to a lot of people!!!! drake is a poor man's LL COOL J. LL would still come with the aggressive track to chop it up with boys and then go make his lady records...LL would go to a full fledged war if need be.

I don't own any of Drake's albums or anything like that. I think I have "I'm on One" and a few features etc. on the iTunes so I've never been a fan. I give his shyt a chance and it's not for me. Some women I know like it, others don't. I tolerate it. It's not the worst thing in the world.
But do I think his reign on the top is embarrassing in hindsight? maybe. But then I think, is it any more embarrassing than Eminem and his du rag running around with G-Unit on some thug shyt?
Now make no mistake, I liked some of Em's old shyt. Slim Shady LP was that shyt. I've always been a 50 supporter, Banks, all the mixtapes, Get Rich or Die Tryin. But you would have to admit that Em running around with G-Unit on some "we'll take it to the streets" shyt was a bad look.
That's the problem. We let Em get away with that. Now we're letting Drake get away with his bullshyt and the list goes on and on. Hip-hop in the mainstream has been embarrassing for a while. Will I Am is an embarrassment. Pharell is an embarrassment. Where do we draw the line? lol
