Funk is really the wrestler who gave that promotion credibility. So everyone who grew up loving ECW should thank him, because he really played a part in their success

Terry Funk's contribution to pro wrestling cannot be overstated. They say rasslin is fake, but Terry Funk ALWAYS made his ish look real, and he will always be appreciated for that.
The Funker can finally rest easy in that Double Cross ranch in the sky.

When you think about his run. Guy was a world champion all through the 70s with territories, went on to have a main event run in Crocket/WCW, then had a hardcore legend run in Japan and ECW and then had a tag run with Foley in The Attitude Era

And even in the RA era had that tag match vs Edge/Foley/Lita

RIP he had a hell of a run
