My favorite memory of him.

And his consistent joy at the 2001 all star game where the East was outgunned due to a lack of big men and won . He couldn’t hide his joy that game.

:to:
Crazy you bring that up, just rewatched that with one of my lil cousins on Saturday

Doug Collins on commentary specifically highlighted after the buzzer went that Dike's defense helping The East was able to comeback when they was down like 20, especially since he aint start (Antonio Davis did) and the only other "Big" the East had was Anthony Mason (RIP Mase)

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Rest in peace to Mount Mutombo, a Nuggets legend :salute:

Man remains among my favorite Nuggets ever

Gave the NBA one of its most iconic moments in ‘94 with him clutching the ball with the purest joy as his Nuggets upset the top seeded Sonics

The finger wag after a block remains a signature—hope to see some tributes this year

Hope his fam and people are alright

The world lost a good one

Dying at 58 is just crazy. I'm sorry but we are in 2024. Technology is advanced and we have AI. You mean to tell me we have yet to find a cure for cancer and aids? But Covid came out in 2020 and they were able to get a vaccine for that. I get that it's more complicated and you need government approval. But this should be a top priority. We need to get back to people living well into their 90s.

R.I.P. to one of nicest, kindest individuals ever, not just in sports. He had a heart of gold. A part of my childhood sports memories.

whats crazy is dudes goal was just to go to an american university so he could become a dr and save lives in congo. But then he realized he could do more by being in the nba so he changed from premed

If people in the world had 10 percent of the compassion dikembe mutumbo had for others the world would be 1000 times better.

A great man who cared for the less fortunate
He just happened to be a great athlete. He was a better human being. Dude was one of the most giving athletes ever.
