Can't be bothered to pronounce his fukking name correctly?
61 is young, crazy. He had a show on FX before cable prestige dramas that I thought was good, only lasted 1 season. "Thief" from 2006. Ahead of it's time by at least five years.

Thief was dope. Very overlooked. Thanks for bringing up some forgotten memories.

I used to always see breh and family around here in Jersey before Brooklyn. They lived in Montclair. My mom used to always talk to him and geek out. I didn’t recognize him until Brooklyn 99 blew up. Its crazy how she out lived him and she 2 years older, survived 9/11, cancer, and multiple comas/accidents

My mom literally did the same thing when we first saw him at a diner. It was around the time he was on Thief. She had been a stan since Homicide. She literally screamed IT'S ANDRE BRAUGHER.

If you've never watched Homicide; please do. It's the cornerstone of what became peak TV and Andre Braugher's Frank Pembleton is the centerpiece of what became the standard of longform character arcs in series. RIP to a legend and master of his craft who elevated the art form for everyone.

I never got into Homicide. I wonder what I was watching when it was on.

I purchased the DVD collection of Homicide for my mother on one of her birthdays. It is wild as fukk that this show is not streamed as far as I know. Every great TV show of the past say 20 years needs to buy Homicide a beer.
