One of the most sampled artists in history, and the samples produced so many classic records. His catalogue is in the same realm with Stevie and James Brown - so much depth and quality.

A one of one legend and ranks near the top of my list of musical favorites.

In his own words: life is just a moment.

Noooooooo :mjcry:

This man was behind so much classic shyt

That RAMP album from 1977 was a vibe and gave us the sample from Daylight that brought us Bonita Applebum — and of course Everybody Loves the Sunshine was from that album as well.

This is a sad day brehs.

Roy was a goddamn genius. All of his music was a vibe, it was unapologetically 1970s and grown man shīt

We gotta live life to the fullest brehs. The best pieces of the tree are falling off.
