Not in a position to comment on 'fine and fit' but I do know Sean Connery and Daniel Craig constantly put foot to ass. Roger Moore seemed to just be cracking puns and double entendres. I despised his Bond.
Just my opinion though.

He always played Bond more smug than swag, and while one can say the franchise suffered quite a bit from the Roger Moore silliness, he certainly left his mark on film history.

Of course one should also mention his great career in tv before with The Persuaders and The Saint, which his Bond was really just an extension of.
