Well worth listening to, if you never listened to this. Undertaker film, Prince in a power trio format in 1993, recording on a soundstage late at night in a rock setting. Great versions of The Ryde/Undertaker/Poor Goo and Bambi.

A stunningly beautiful song containing lyrics that were written by Nikka Costa and in 2017 she stated on 'Facebook' the following - "Many years ago Prince had emailed asking for a poem. I sent him these lyrics. What he sent back to me was an amazing jazz song with just him singing with piano. I was so blown away by this and I really wanted to record it but it never fit on any records of mine. His version is the B side for his single “Call Your Name” and its one of my proudest moments to have written a song with him that he wanted to record....' This surprisingly is a "demo" recording and is not finished, but sounds perfect enough to me, besides I think extra instrument over-dubs and more background vocals would of ruined the isolation the song conveys, sometimes less is indeed more.....and for that reason 'Silver Tongue' is a true Purple Classic.....
