Parade is a rise up album by Prince an the revolution..this takes the sound to another level..organic psychedelia pop fused with baroque pop and jazz moments..I love this LP/soundtrack..far greater than the previous around the world in a day..(even though i love raspberry beret and paisley park)..
and now an iconic song that has been on the lips and ears of listeners since the 21st of April..sometimes it snows in April..groundbreaking and touching.
Anotherloverholenyohead is one of fave joints from the revolution crew..spectacular..

i remember when this change of era came through Prince started to lose his black support and gained plenty of pop/white fans..Kiss smashed the charts too..
i remember this time like last week..i saw him again (sighs) at parade tour.

Man I'm still stunned about this. I assumed he'd be touring for another decade at least. Crazy when you realize that we're going to lose a lot of music legends in the next few years. Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney...lots of folks are getting up there in age. But I thought Prince would out live them all...

it's still haunting me but im gradually breaking in as im playing his songs and other productions to help filter the tragedy in some place and hopefully lock it in..
he was not meant to go man..he had his tours and projects to be unleashed..the memoirs /book that just got signed due for a late 2017 release plus that would have been supported by a LP and another tour..

Oh and he had plans for reunion..likely with the time/morris day..
