Yeap I knew he wasn't gonna be around for long. Brotha took real good care of himself and looked very young for his age.
Then when he caught cancer I was scared he wasn't gonna live that long and then he got alzheimers or dementia can't remember which one. The cancer really made him age fast, but when he got alzheimers or dementia you knew it wasn't gonna be long for the legend. Once he started to get sick he stopped doing any appearances and hasn't been seen for awhile.
I am just thankful that I got to see the brotha three times in the late 90s and early 2010s.
You can say what you want about his personal life. But no comedian spoke on race, white folks racism, non black folks racism and politics like Paul Mooney. Wasn't a subject he wasn't gonna touch on stage.
Anyway RIP to a legend.
