CanI was at this PPV with my father out here at Kemper Arena. Saw the fall and everything. When they carted him out I remember seeing his arm move on the stretcher. I thought dude was 'just' paralyzed. Didn't know he died until we got home and my sister was like " which one of them dudes died out there?"...I was like.

I was in the AOL WWF Chatroom (Wrestle Chat/Mat Rap.) I didn’t order the PPV so we were getting play by play from people who were watching. There were at least 10 chats open. Of course, you had trolls who were joking about it and even some conspiracy theorists who thought it was an angle/storyline. WCW was actually in Knoxville that night and they held a tribute for Brian Hildebrand who would pass away a short time later.
