Only good thing gonna come out of this is all the young dudes fixing to find out how HUGE Ali was as a figure. Easily as big any star is sports history in his time.


Could make for some interesting conversations regarding race and religion considering this political season. So many folks view Ali as a hero, or recognize his legacy as iconic, however, don't realize the complexities involved as it relates to race and religion. I always find it curious when I see white people view him as heroic in an age where people who have similar attitudes and beliefs as Ali are labeled as divisive at least and demonized at worst.

Regardless, I hope he's able to go without suffering. There's no replacing him. Cut from a completely different cloth as were so many who came of age during "those years."
