The real killers are nonchalant.
beterbiev is friendly...i was next to him recording him while he was going off excited about the fight he was in after beating gvozdyk...man had some punishment on his face but looked like he enjoyed it and wanted to do it again lol...thats a different type of fighter

i think canelo got the message tonight that 175 belongs to beterbiev....cant p*ssyfoot around the division as long dude is top dog there

i actually think yarde does better than joe. maybe 5 or 6 rounds before getting KO'd

canelo would go the distance, but lose on points.

these are 2 trash takes:

not only does Yarde gets slept , Canelo get stopped too

Take the night off bruh :mjtf: rewatch the fight when you sober up

Canelo will never call out Beterbiev

All that "Canelo's chasing greatness" talk will end whenever Beterbiev name is mentioned
Oh of course.

He's tried at that weight but it's a dramatic jump.

The Bivol fight indicated he's pushed the envelope up there and can't hang.

I don't think he will ever go up there again.

Beterbiev made this look like bag work :russ::wow: just leagues above Smith, the kind of fight that after you watched you know the result would be the same every time deapite Smith’s having power too.

Crazy how he is fighting at 37, legit got better over time, keeping active helps.

Bring on the undisputed fight, but probably we’ll have to wait for Beterbiev vs Yarde and Bivol vs Zurdo first. Bivol vs Zurdo is interesring while Beterbiev will wipe the floor with Yarde as well.

WTF was Smith's game plan? :what:

I'm guessing it was to take advantage of Beterbiev's tendency to start slow and inflict some early damage, especially to the body. Then perhaps in the later rounds, to fight on the backfoot and outbox him. The trouble was 1) He's a better counter puncher than most (including myself) realised and 2) His power is so otherworldly that you just can't stand in front of him.

What I don't get is why Joe didn't get on his bike after getting hurt. I guess he wanted to catch Beterbiev with something big, but once you've been down a couple of times you need to bush that idea and run/clinch/potshot. It's not like Joe Smith can't box at all, i've seen him box well in spots.

Anyway, great performance by Beterbiev, but I'd still favor Bivol to keep him at range and win by decision.

im happy now that fighters seem to get what ive been talking about for YEARS...unify and become undisputed...fight the other champions and take away their belts to prove that you're right..wrap up the division and make it yours while you can...i was damn near alone on that mindset for the longest lol
