Kevin Samuels is not as important to the black community as his followers are making him out to be. I liked some of his old videos about style and he used to call out both men and women in his earlier videos. The problem with Kevin is he became popular like a lot of online “gurus” by selling a life he’s never lived. I have uncles around his age and older who have money, some are bitter divorces but most are married. Kevin was not rich and I don’t believe he started making money until about a year ago. YouTube doesn’t pay people out big amounts of money like the vloggers want us to believe. The ones who make a killing in this day and age have sponsors. YouTube keeps most of your revenue from views and superchats. And did Kevin ever have in person events? That shows me he knew to hide who he really was. I saw the video of him arguing with his landlord about his car leaking oil. I don’t know much about BMWs but I bet if he were around moneyed black men his age and he pulled up in a noisy BMW while they drove something better or have nice, well maintained newer cars they’d see that’s up. Kevin saw taking extreme views would garner him more fame and fortune. He was out here living a lie like so many people online.

And the snippets I saw of the funeral looked sad, it wasn’t a lot of people there. For him to have such a big following I would have expected more friends or people to show up. The church wasn’t full of flowers. Kevin lived a lonely life offline and pulped himself up big when he logged in. This online posturing for pay has got to stop.

we’re in the digital age what’s wrong with him making his due investment into the e-commerce route. nothing wrong with doing that. he said he was a research analyst for a multi million dollar company. and not everybody gotta be a social butterfly and buddy-buddy with everyone in real life for their words to mean something

In an in-depth new interview with Julian Kimble for Complex, Atlanta writer and producer Stephen Glover opened up about a variety of topics surrounding the acclaimed series’ third season, including Samuels’ casting.

“I’m a Black man, so to me, Kevin Samuels isn’t that crazy,” he said of casting the controversial social media figure, whose views were often criticized as misogynistic. “He was an old Black man. I think we’ve all met some version of Kevin Samuels before in our lives. We probably have a family member who’s Kevin Samuels.”

I think that's part of the problem with most the haters. They don't have an older male relative that's usually at the cards/dominos table during the family gatherings (if these folks even have family gatherings anymore) talking like a Kevin Samuels. Likely because the women around them are insufferable to the point where the men don't come to family functions no more, or they just stopped having family get togethers altogether. Because guaranteed if they saw Kevin Samuels and thought he reminds me of my older brother/cousin/uncle there wouldn't be this much slander for a dead man.

Petty Vandross.. fukk Yall

Mr. BEEAITCH :skip:
Now this shyt jumping the shark :skip:
Pimpin is the most hateful shyt you can ever do to a woman
You strip her mind, body and soul to make paper with dead white men on it
But telling women to lose weight
Work on their trauma
Work on their attitude
Work on relationships with their mothers
Think about who you fukking before you have their child
Recognize that job, degrees, “friends” are not going to be there when they get sick
Nor will those dogs/cats and calling yourself a MOM
Bring you fulfillment
Under that even if you get a 5% and up man
You are going to have to compete
Actually learn who your man is or men as a whole
Understand our logic and understand nature vs nurture
I want off this ride
We are leaving in bizarro world right now

My family doesn't have get togethers anymore because the women in the family can't get along. All they do is gossip about each other and argue over stupid shyt. Hard to believe grown women still act like school girls. They basically force everyone to pick sides splitting the family.

Seeing all this feminine energy towards Kevin Samuels death by even Men was kind of shocking. No logic or debating your point just reacting emotionally like a woman.

Oh T.I how surprising smh
The major problem with many of you is you have NEVER had a man correct you....
no man can raise his voice at you....
chastise you....
sayo you wrong....
disagrree....
etc
you can do all that though and probably quite regularly.....

imagine that....a whole generation of women who have never heard the truth from a man....
and if we are going to bbe totally realistic....

after a certain age....most fathers and male family members keep a distance if you a certain way....
that is one of the biggest issues certain blk women and all women face....

as with young people when older folks say "let them live their lives"....
many blk men have developed that attitude....

point being....as said before....Kevin should have been viewed as having some of the same views as men in your family....
the fact that he is viewed as a monster....
is quite remarkable...

Yup..... KS didnt say anything that I havent already heard from my father and uncles.

KS told women to do the exact same thing that my mother and aunt did.... find a man EARLY.... Marry before you carry..... Be cooperative and keep your family together.

Basic elementary advice.... yet so many women are still triggered.

As the son of a top 1% man - KS spoke nothing but facts.

Not a single lie told.

These hoes are losers.
