Hip Hop Pillar. I remember watching Style Wars as a kid already knowing of Kay Slay and not making the connection until later. Definition of legend. Rest up, incredible contribution to the game.

He paved the way for many artists/rappers giving them exposure and putting them on his mixtapes. There was a whole lot of folks that kept mute when he died which tells me they were opportunist and frauds to begin with.
