i know him as a broadcaster, but i used to study up on the almanacs and stats since i was a kid. so i always had respect for joe.
always respected the man. another loss. as these old black legends die it really does make me wish there were more black players in the modern game.
Hank and Mays are the last two left from that great generation of Black baseball players.
I'll probably cry for real when they leave us. Big part of our history.
